The Canalous

Please note you do not need a permit to hire a rental.
The Canalous have 2 locations in the south of France: Homps, which is on the Canal du Midi, and Carnon, which is located on the Canal du Rhône at Sète.

You can hire for a one-way journey from one location to the other.

Homps is a charming medieval village not too far from Carcassonne. The trip is shaded and picturesque. You will cross towns rich in history such as Carcassonne or Béziers.

Carnon is close to Montpellier in the heart of the Camargue region. From this departure point, you can navigate on the Etang de Thau or in Camargue natural park which follows 40 km of beaches.
